The first citronella collar I bought and utilized on one from the dogs worked after two or 3 barks. They figure out if they bark they get sprayed and so I just ordered a second one for my other dog. It doesn’t hurt them at all, but they do not like it and it does operate.

Does just the trick to maintain our Excellent Dane from barking. It does not even have to be turned on now to operate. so long as the collar is on he instantly becomes a nicely behaved dog. Does not operate so well with our Chow I believe she’s got too much hair. However, since the Dane is usually the instigator from the barking, I am still really happy with it.

This collar works so well for my dog that she has gone from being a serial barker to not barking whatsoever. The only poor point is that she must wear the collar all of the time. I read the other reviews and also the biggest problem other people had was battery life. I haven’t yet had to replace the battery, all you have to complete is keep in mind to turn the device off. I refill the citronella after every use too. This collar was worth each and every penny. I wish I could sneak one on my neighbors dog.

Our dogs would bark when anyone came to the house. We put these on when we know someone is stopping over. They barked once and did not bark once again. What an awesome product. Simple to refill too.

We have a 7 pound long hair chihuahua and this model has worked nicely to stop most from the uncontrollable barking. It is slightly too large for him, however, he only wears it a couple of hours a day.
